Oubari & Co was established in 1989, we were the first private pharmaceutical company to start sterile production of in Syria; we were also the first under license manufacturer of pharmaceuticals of multinational companies such as Aventis Pharma and Dr Mann.
Today we are operating from our new factory, which has started production in October 2000 after passing all the required validations and qualifications as per GMP regulations.

The human resources & the skills

We employ about 400 people, which include pharmacists, chemists, biologists, physicians and others to complement our activities of R&D, production, process control, packaging, administration and marketing.
Regular training is carried out for all personnel levels; it is done on site or externally in order to comply with the latest GMP guidelines & regulations.
