Composition
Each Metocal tablet contains :
- Metoclopramide: 10 mg.
- Excipients: S.Q. for one tablet.
Indications
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Dyspeptic manifestations that can be related to a disorder of digestive motility.
- Preparation for jejunal biopsy and certain digestive tube examinations.
Dosage & Administration
Adults
1/2 to 1 tablet 3 times per day before meals.
Children
- From 5 to 10 years: 1/2 tablet twice a day.
- Children over 10 years: 1/2 tablet 3 times a day.
Infants and Young Children
These pharmaceutical forms are not recommended for infants or children under 5 years of age or less than 20 kg of weight .
