Oubari Pharma was founded in 1989 as the first private pharmaceutical company in Syria to manufacture injectable medicines in sterilized areas. It started producing several medications under license from International renowned drug companies such as Rhone Poulenc, Roussel Uclaf, Dr. Mann, and Lisa Pharma.
Oubari Pharma was the first company specifically designed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Moreover, it was awarded multiple ISO certifications, as Oubari always honors and upholds its motto “Quality is an Endless Race”.

Its production facilities are now among the largest in the Middle East. It employs over 500 personnel, and its premises span 50,000 m² of buildings across 120,000 m² of land including several departments:
