Valsartan Oubari 80 mg, a medication belonging to the Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs)-2. It is primarily used to treat a variety of cardiovascular disorders.
Valsartan Oubari 80 mg works by inhibiting the effects of angiotensin II, a peptide hormone that causes vasoconstriction and increases blood pressure. Additionally, it provides organ protection, such as safeguarding the heart and kidneys from damage.
Each F.C tablets of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg contains 80 mg Valsartan.
Adults:
Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets are indicated for the treatment of systolic and diastolic hypertension. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular disorders, primarily myocardial infarction and stroke.
Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets are used for the treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II-IV).
Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets are prescribed for clinically stable patients with left ventricular failure or left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction.
Children:
The efficacy of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets has not been established in children (under 6 years of age).
Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets are indicated for the treatment of systolic and diastolic hypertension in children and adolescents (6 to 16 years of age).
Pregnancy& breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking Valsartan Oubari 80 mg.

Valsartan Oubari 80 mg should not be used whilst breastfeeding because of small amount of the contents of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg appear in breast milk.
Adults:
Treatment of systolic or diastolic hypertension:
The recommended initial dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets ranges from one to two tablets daily (80 mg - 160 mg).
The maximum recommended dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets should not exceed 4 tablets daily (320 mg).
Heart failure:
The recommended initial dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets is one tablet (80 mg) once daily. The daily dose can be increased to one or two tablets taken twice daily.
The maximum recommended dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets should not exceed 4 tablets daily (320 mg).
To reduce the risk of death post-myocardial infarction:
The recommended initial dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets is one tablet (80 mg) once daily. The daily dose can be increased to two tablets taken twice daily.
If accidental hypotension or renal dysfunction occurs, the dose should be reduced.
Children:
Treatment of Systolic or Diastolic Hypertension:
The recommended dose of Valsartan Oubari 80 mg F.C tablets is 1.3–2.7 mg/kg once daily (up to a maximum of 40–160 mg).
